SLOTS REVIEW
Actually this is a matter of taste to choose one or another slot machine. But I'd like to quote some well-known people about slots. Click to see screen shots of this slot machine with a list of casinos where you can find this slot.

"I'm normally a VP boff, but i've been playing around with various slots at various casinos for reviewing purposes. Must say the Microgaming ones seem to wipe the floor with other casino software and i'm getting fond of Thunderstruck (I know, I know - 9-line slots aren't the best in terms of expected returns but they ARE fun!). This may be because of its 3x scatter bonus (but also probably helped by 4500 coin payout the other day - 5 Ice Hammers with a Wild symbol during a free spin bonus!).
Anyway, I was just wondering if there are any other slots people find can give regular adrenaline rushes on a similar scale?"
"There are a few other slots based on the thunderstruck logic at microgaming casinos now. Beach party is one I can think of, and I think another is coming soon. There's also the other flavor of 9 line bonus slots, skull duggery and big kahuna, these are ok, but I prefer the thunderstruck model myself.
Intercasino has just added some cool new slots, one of which is reminiscent of t-struck. I think its called eastern dragon. I had quite a run on this one over the past 2 days. Its a 20 line slot that you can play for pennies on up. Its got scatters as well as a bonus game. If you get a dragon on the #1 & #5 reels, it activates the bonus round, 15 free spins. All wins tripled and you can re-bonus during the spins (been there, done that!). This game played pretty loose for me, I started with $100 and played at the 10cent level first of all and pretty quickly turned that into $300! Hit a couple of dragon spins (btw, the dragon is also wild and doubles payout on a non-bonus hit). W/d $200 and played for a while longer, up down up down and stopped for the nite with $100 still in there. Came back the next nite and played it again, this time at the $.05 level and got it up to $200 again, which I cashed out $100 and kept playing that and other games till I was out. (had the $$ in neteller in a day)
Another very creative slot they added is Cash Caper. This one is unique and comes in 2 varieties, $0.25 and $1 denominations. The .25 version is MUCH looser than the $1, but has far less potential for making a good profit. Lots of fun though. Its a multi reel (6 from what I can remember, with 1 more on each end that don't count) slot with pictures of actual US coins (on the .25 version) and currency (only on the $1 version). The money is split in half and in order to win something the 2 halves have to match up to form a complete coin/bill. You win whatever matches up. Pretty ingenious idea in my opinion. I've never seen anything similar, particularly with real money for symbols. The max coin you find on the .25 game is the golden dollar, and the highest payout I got on any spin was about $2.25 or so. Its 3 lines, so max bet costs .75 and there is a bonus game where you pick a vault and get some kind of prize from .50 up to a few dollars ($3 biggest I got). If you also find a key in your vault, it opens the big vault and you get a number of free spins from 1 - 10 I think it was. Almost every spin on the .25 version won some money, but not the same on the $1 version. BUT the prizes are much bigger on the $1, with coins up to $1 and bills from $1 to $100! I actually got the $100 bill at one point when I was down about $50-60. The bonus games came far less frequently and pay all over the place from a couple of dollars up to $25 in my experience. Never got the free spins, so don't know what that does.
Another one to check out if you play at any RTGs is Super Diamond Mine. I like that one for nickels, once you get to the bonus game you can really clean up (won over 2000 nickels in the bonus last time I tried it at nostalgia)."
"Avoid slot machines in Britain. The minimum thoretical return required by law is only 70%, and I guess most of machines in pubs or amusement arcades are at this level.
...
Yes indeed - thankfully a 10,000 coin online payout vs a 100 coin pub payout makes staying in with a beer an easy choice"
"Here's just a general question for everybody. I want to know what your favorite slot game is, from any software. I think my favorite is Skull Duggery or if I'm in the mood for some simple fun, Super Diamond Mine. I know a lot of people love Thunderstruck, but I've never had much luck with it. What's your favorite?
...
If i didn't have T'struck to play, then probably Tomb raider. All other slots get incredibly boring very quickly in my experience, especially the 3 reel slots. Do people actually play those for fun??
...
Well, most slots that aren't Viper seem archaic compared to the flashy graphics, sounds, etc. of the Viper ones like Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider. Every once in awhile I try a 3 reel or even a bonus slot from different software, but I lose interest after a few minutes!
...
When I feel chancey and feel that I "might" win
Thunderstruck
Springbreak
Tallyho
Ladies Nite
When I plan to kick ass:
Skullduggery
What a Hoot
Carnival (carnaval)
Super Diamond Mine (RTG)
Food Fight (RTG)
When I'm feeling nostalgic:
Sunquest
When I want to donate my money to the affiliate account I just downloaded:
Couch Potato
Reel Strike
...
ok, I have to confess, I never played more than 1 dollar in any slot because I always thought that it was boring. Now I am hearing people is having actual fun playing them, so, besides your favourite slot tell me one slot machine that you think I should try. I have two requirments, It has to be more than just pressing the spin button, and I don't want to spend a lot of money on this, I just want to try them. ( I don't want make money playing slots either, of course).
...
If you want some fun and to be "interactive" and not spend too much, try out the new UK pub-style "fruit machines" like "Super Sideshow" on Crytpologic casinos. Keep you going for ages and good fun"
"I don,t think anyone,s software turns your PC into a real slot machine better than Microgaming. 5-Reel drive slot is no exception. Beautiful graphics and smooth play. Only one short-coming.....this slot is the tightest bastard I have ever seen in my life. Anyone else notice that?
...
I hate 5 reel drive. It's the tightest video slots out there it seems. My personal favorite is Sun-Quest. You can find this at Sunvegas, Lucky Nugget, and Gaming Club (I think). It seems to be pretty loose. I've done pretty well with this game.
Anyway, I hate the dude with the beard. He reminds me of an a-hole of a boss I once had years ago.

... I've always done better on Sun-Quest also. As far as 5-Reel Drive is concerned, I've given it more than just a casual spin or two, so I know from experience that this slot is about the tightest thing that I've ever played. Many times I've hit a nice (temporary) score at Microgaming Casinos and decided to put 5-Reel Drive to the test. I've played max bet.... $18.00 per spin for hundreds of dollars to see if this machine was just holding back the small hits to reward me with the biggie. Nothing! This machine is nothing more than a money-losing effort as far as I'm concerned. Theres's always a few big winners on any machine or software, and I'm sure that 5_Reel has had a few satisfied customers...but on the whole, this slot is a money-maker! (for the casino!) Take Care!
...
Never played Sunquest - but my experience with 5-reel drive is that it most certainly can be tight - but when you're on a roll... there's a lot of give and take with this machine. I have no idea what the real odds are though.

...
I've actually hit the jackpot on 5 Reel Drive twice within a month . . . at the same Casino (All Slots). SunQuest, on the other hand, goes on long losing streaks (at least for me).
That's just been my experience.
I'm interested in hearing which Microgaming Slot or Slot(s) have you experienced the best (most frequent) payouts on? I've tried them all, and the only one that I ever got to hit was 5 Reel Drive. What's your experience??
...
I used to do very well on Sizzling Scorpions, had a knack for picking the winning one in the bonus game. Lately the ones I hit pretty good were cash splash and roadhouse (got 4 out of 5 of the jackpot symbols lined up on that one for a nice payout, but oh so close!)
...
Sizzling Scorpions is kinda weird... LOL... I always picked the second highest... Closest I ever got was two Major Millions on the payline, and the third just below... boy, that sucked! But later I got two 7s and a Major Millions, so I won't complain
...
JPM . . . Roadhouse? Do you mean Reel Thunder? I like that game, as well . . . but I've never really accomplished anything on it. I did hit the 5 Pharohs on Treasure Nile (also at All Slots). Unfortunately though, it wasn't on the 9th Payline . . . but I did win a a whopping $3200. My winning seems to go in streaks though. If I'm winning on one game, then I'm winning on all of them. However, the reverse holds true as well . . unfortunately that happens most often. I'm thinking, though, that this has more to do with the Casino's belt than my streaks of luck. IMHO.
...
Holy Cow surfergirl, that's a great hit on treasure nile! I can't win squat on that one. Yes I did mean reel thunder, I couldn't remember that name.
I had a similar experience to spearmaster when I was playing cash splash, got 2 cash splash symbols on the first 2 lines and the third was on the position just above the payline (1/2 way there, just a little further down!!!) My heart skipped a beat thinking I was hitting a $68k jackpot. Then later that day, someone else won MY jackpot! I was pissed
...
DOES ANYONE KNOW A PERSON THAT HAS WON A PROGRESSIVE? NOT A SHILL, A REAL WINNER NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE CASINO. IT SEEMS THAT WOULD BE A REALLY HARD SECRET TO KEEP.
...
Fester, both Bryan and I have met the winner of the first large Major Millions jackpot. I can emphatically assure you that he was not a shill. And I have communicated with a few other jackpot winners - one of who visits here quite often LOL.
jpm - that sucks... actually happened to me once also but that was like 30-40K compared to what was then somewhere past a million...
By tracking, I mean kind of waiting until the jackpot hits a certain level before playing...
...
About a month ago I was board and checked out one of my Microgaming casinos. I had $1.00 in the account. So I played Fruit Fiesta just for shits and giggles. I played max bet on the first spin - nothing. I had .25 cents left and played one line. Two fruit fiestas and a purple seven turned up on the top line -- it didn't count!
I was so pissed! Lesson learned: never play only one line on these games."

"I just got through a session on Thunderstruck and I have to say, this is my favorite online slot game. Anyone have any others that they really like, your favorites, the ones you keep going back to again and again?
...
i like the 9 Line Video Slots at Intercasino. Doctor Love is like Thunderstruck, got a Rapid Fire Jackpot." Source: http://mb.winneronline.com
